Ryan Arieta

Ryan Arieta has been with CrossFit Redux for the better part of 5 years. Throughout that time, we have been lucky enough to see him grow as an athlete. Ryan is a world-class competitive fencer and is using CrossFit to improve his performance.

Ryan is always enthusiastic and very eager to learn. Which is amazing because he is a great coach himself. He’s guiding the next generation of Olympic athletes. He is very in-tune with his body and knows exactly how hard to push in every workout. And he is a stickler for proper form and technique.

Ryan, we are grateful to have been part of your journey for so long. We’re very excited to see what the next few years will bring for you!

Ryan’s Interview

I wanted to up my game. I hadn’t heard of CrossFit being used as any other high-level fencer’s workout routine. But after just a few classes, I knew it could take me to the next level.

Nowadays, I see many fencers and athletes across various sports using CrossFit as their main source of cross-training.

It may be difficult and it may suck at first, but remember the feeling you get from finishing a workout and the encouragement you get from your classmates. It will change your life for the better!
